UNICEF called for a meeting in their office in Amman in 16th Sep 2009 attended by representatives from UNRWA, National Council for Family Affairs, Department of Palestinian Affairs (DPA) and UNICEF. They discussed forming a steering comitte so as to conduct and pursue carrying out the programme.

DPA representatives showed their readiness to offer any assistance in coordinating between UNICEF organization and all concerned ministries or governmental depatments and to provide them with all available statistics, data and information they have regarding refugee camps in Jordan. Moreover, DPA will facilitate their field work in camps and with comittees or NGO's.
